Psych 101 (Monday, 04/03/2006, 3rd Period)

"All right, guys, it's getting on towards the end of the term," said Jenny. "Don't cheer too much, but we're gearing up to our final projects. Relieved? I've got some information on my desk about psychological experiments. I want you to review them, and come up with a short handwavey if you want to do it that way proposal for a safe, ethical experiment of your own. One which you are in no way required to roleplay outside of class time if you don't want to, but people had fun with that last semester." Jenny grinned. "This is the easy part--give me the proposal. And guys, next week, we're going to have a quiz. Fair warning, right?"

Jaye doesn't even look at the handout, arm propping up her head on the desk. "Sleep deprivation," she says. "Yay me."

"I was kinda thinking you should try an experiment on someone else," said Jenny, grinning wryly. "Less researcher bias that way. Though if you're having some insomnia problems, you might want to consider the clinic. You doing all right, Jaye?"

"Nope, no torture," said Jenny. She shrugged, hiding a grin. "I'm a teacher. They pay me to ruin your fun."

With a tired smile at Jaye, Elizabeth looked down at her handout. force field analysis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Force_field_analysis), it sounded more like something Sam would be doing.

At the end of the class, after jotting down a few *handwavey* notes, Elizabeth slowly moved to pack up her things, trying not to yawn.

There was another hesitation as Elizabeth weighed up the offer. She sighed. "I think I should," she said, nodding slightly.

"But who ever wants to talk about their problems?" Jenny grinned, then went to close the door. "I hear you. Personally? I'm not so much fond of it either."

Elizabeth managed to laugh slightly. "I guess psychiatrists want people to talk about their problems, as long as people come and talk to them and pay them obscene amounts of money," she suggested. "But other people always suggest that someone who's not them talk about their problems."

Stark looked at his handout. He was trying not to listen to the little voice in his head that was trying to tell him that it was going to be fun to make someone else be a science experiment for once.

While trying to ignore the little voice, he was pondering experiments as was the mun. Who will totally come up with one. Soon.

OOC: Hee! I love psychology. And the people who roleplayed it out last term really did seem to have a lot of fun. Plus I fully give you permission to drag my student character into an experiment. :)
