Fandom Library, Wednesday
There was some kind of pitched battle taking places amongst the stacks today. Books with pictures of trees, reindeer, and a bearded man in red kept trying to knock other books off the shelves and claim the space as their own. They had completely trampled other books with turkeys and cornucopias on them, and were squaring up against books that mostly had pictures of spider webs and pumpkins with faces carved in them. The first set of books kept trying to force their way forward, where books of red, white, and blue huddled in fear, but the spider webs and pumpkin books held fast, refusing to give up any ground.
"I have no idea what is going on here," Elisabeth said, confused by the books' iconography as much as the weird aggression, "but I'm putting a stop to it right now."
With that, she scooped up the marauding books and stacked them in a corner. "You'll stay there until you can learn to live with the others," she chided. "You don't need all that much space, you have plenty in your own section, you naughty things."
The books grumbled but froze at the word 'naughty.' Elisabeth was still confused, but willing to accept the peace however it came about.
