Detention, Saturday, APRIL FOOL'S DAY! [9am - 4pm]

When the Jaye and Peter first walk into the Danger Shop, it looks like a typical classroom: desks, chairs, chalkboards, etc. The only thing missing is a teacher to run detention.

There is something written in a somewhat messy scrawl across the front blackboard:

PLEASE TAKE YOUR SEATS AND WAIT PATIENTLY

[[ETA OOC: OCD threads: are there. I will be adding info to the activities after both students arrive. Feel free to start the 'wtf?' in the first thread and I will jump in shortly after. Detention will run until 4pm FHT or until all activities are completed.]]

Speculate, bicker, whatever.

Jaye takes a seat. Already grumbling. Detention itself is fine. Peter? Not so fine.

She wonders if she can institute the five minute rule if the teacher doesn't show.

Peter walked into the shop with a smile on his face. Not that he's happy about the situation, but a smile might bug Jaye. And that would be funny.

"Good morning," he said as he took his seat.

Jaye turns and glares at him. (See icon.)

"So, the teacher hasn't shown up yet? I wonder who it is. I had Rory's mom the last time the megalomaniacal head-in-a-tube stuck me with detention and that turned out fine. But some of the other teachers? I've heard things." This was fun.

"I raced cockroaches last time."

"I made a hammer look pretty and gave potential names for Rory's upcoming sibling."

"Can we go back and trade?"

"Nope," Peter said with a grin.

Jaye continues glaring.

As much fun as it was to bug Jaye, Peter was really starting to wonder about the teacher. "I'm really starting to wonder about the teacher. Think the May Flowers got sick of waiting and decided to take over April and anyone who got in their way, too? Think that's what happened to our detentioneer?"

Now that both students are seated, the door to the danger shop swings shut with an ominous locking sound. As the echoes of that noise fade into silence, the room around them begins to change. The desks in which Jaye and Peter are sitting remain the same, but everything around them begins to darken and grow. The windows disappear and hissing, dripping steam pipes grow out of the ceiling.

Once the room is done shifting, Jaye and Peter find themselves in what appears to be the deep basement of the school. The room around them is much larger than normal, making them seem to be about one third of their normal height.

If they look again to the front of the room, they will see a gremlin perched on an old teacher's desk in front of a free standing blackboard, grinning at them. The most unusual thing about this gremlin is that he appears to be man sized.

"Um," says Jaye.

The place was locked down so quickly that even Peter didn't have time to react. Well. This was interesting.

"What do you think he teaches?"

"Hallucinogenics 101?"

The gremlin hopped up and walked across the desk toward the blackboard. Once it reached the far edge, it crouched down and took a flying leap for a small rope hanging to one side of the frame of the board. Catching it successfully, it slowly fell to the ground and the board spun to reveal the other side.

Upon which was written the list of the day's activities written in the same scrawl:

1. Graffiti name on roof. Use vents. Beware Mallet Girl. Get shinies. Accompanying this is a very simple drawing of a girl with a ponytail and a croquet mallet. Her hair is pink.

2. Get bell from 405. Beware Make Us Floaty Boy. Again, there is a simplistic drawing. This time it is of a figure in robes with a funny, but familiar, haircut.

3. Food! Food good.

4. Bite He Who Hunts Us. Another drawing. This one is of a boy in a suit holding a Lacrosse stick with a gremlin chomping on on of his legs.

The gremlin walked out in front of the desk, pointed at the entrance to the ventilation system behind them, and waved them on their way.

Peter read the instructions. "I would have chosen the roaches over this. You think you're ready?" he asked Jaye.

"Yeah," says Jaye, shaking her head.
