The weather was warm, the food smelled good, and there was a good chance the new folks were a little extra glittery. What else could go into a perfect day for the picnic?

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Anakin remembered being an obnoxious teenager. He'd spent years teaching an obnoxious Jedi and then had transitioned to this school, which was maybe the only reason he wasn't stomping his feet like a demented toddler.

"It's not art, it's property destruction."

"Yeah," Vette agreed easily. "But you can't deny it's kinda pretty."

He firmed his jaw. "Not even a little."

Vette made a disappointed little moue, and then just kind of sighed, slumping forward, looking defeated.

"Next time I guess we'll have to use more glitter."

It was the only way.

"Nah," she replied. "The faces you make are way too great."
