The weather was warm, the food smelled good, and there was a good chance the new folks were a little extra glittery. What else could go into a perfect day for the picnic?

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Flatterer," she said, but she was pleased and her smile said that. "I'm, like, totally avoiding the Bus Dean right now????????? And thought, like, it'd been a while since I'd seen you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How are you doing????????????????"

"I'm doing... all right, considering the burden of all this food," Owen said, batting his eyelashes. "...Er, why are we avoiding Bus Dean?"

"The food is a terrible burden," she agreed sagely, then laughed. "We're, like, avoiding him because the shuttle to bring the new students in was maybe a bit more decorated than he'd anticipated.................."

"Ooooooh," Owen said, sitting up. "Did you stick glitter on there, by any chance? Ponies? A live grabbit or three?"

"We wouldn't stick anything live on there," she protested, digging out her phone. "For one, like, that would be super mean to the living thing??????????????? And, like, the Bus Dean really would kill us if we started sticking living things on the bus.................

"But, like, we're pretty proud of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she shared, angling her phone so he could see their masterpiece of glittery origami in the shape of frogs, flowers, cranes and so much more.

"He hasn't found me yet," she said happily, "but I'm probably, like, in for so much detention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Not that detention last time had stopped this from happening!
