The weather was warm, the food smelled good, and there was a good chance the new folks were a little extra glittery. What else could go into a perfect day for the picnic?

Funnily enough, that hadn't gone over well at all any time Norman had said it about Grandma Babcock before it was undeniable that he could talk to ghosts.

He didn't want to say that he'd kick their ass, but... he'd kick their ass. Because he was the classic Knight in Sour Armor. And Norman was a nice person.

He'd kind of had to figure it out for himself. Which made for some great times when you didn't even realize that the family power meant that you were expected to read a bedtime story to an angry ghost once a year.
