The weather was warm, the food smelled good, and there was a good chance the new folks were a little extra glittery. What else could go into a perfect day for the picnic?

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Shunsui knew he had been absolutely terrible about socializing, which was a shame, really, because it didn't take long stepping outside on this island to be reminded of exactly the reason he'd come back. Thankfully, events like the welcome picnic made it easier for him to not only be social, but also be lazy about it, because pretty much all he had to do was show up, smile and tip his hat, and offer out sake to those he might deep particularly interesting.

At first, though, for now, he was going to find a good place where he could sit and lounge with languid comfort, watching the whole thing with pleased bemusement, because there was just something so nice about a gathering of so many beautiful people, just getting to know each other, enjoying themselves, being completely and hopelessly bewildered by the ever-present confusion that this place cultivated like a fine, aging wine...

He sighed wistfully, poured himself a little sake from his jug, and sipped.
