Breq had just picked up a soda to start with, mostly being here to see who the new students were. Perhaps someone would be interested in music, and in working a shift at Groovy Tunes.

No, that wasn't entirely true. She also wanted to run into old friends, as getting her new basement apartment in order had made her a bit of a recluse. Not that she minded. Obviously. It was just good to make sure to stay in touch.

Mostly, she told herself, she was looking for employees, knowing well enough that putting up a note on the shop door might be more efficient. Looking at the people gathered, she took a sip from her glass.
