Fandom Gladiators Part DEUX! - First Period, Friday, 08/23.

"You know," said Rosa, addressing her students and fellow teachers once it was time to begin class, tilting her head thoughtfully, introspectively, "after a week like last week, sometimes, the best thing to do is just take some time, reflect, relax, maybe meditate a little and look into ourselves to find some sort of inner peace and tranquility..."

She let that hang for about two seconds.

"Ha. Just kidding. We're hitting each other with giant sticks. Let's go."

The RNG called for a rematch, Exterminator gets her revenge and is victorious!

"Okay," said Rosa, rolling her shoulders and shaking her head a little and being not at all pissed off about the end of the last round, really! That glare was entirely just to see if she could knock Janet off her platform again with her mind.

"Let's try this again."

Exterminator vs Leviathan, with Leviathan victorious!

Finally! He was up! After not getting a chance to go in the first round, which had gotten him sufficiently excited for his own turn on the platform with the...er...big sticks (they didn't seem quite so big to him, in all honesty!), Leviathan was thrilled for a chance to really show his mettle!

Against the Teacheriest Teacher, too! Hope you were ready, Exterminator; Leviathan knew his way around a big stuck!

"We're all very impressed, Leviathan," Rosa said drying, matching the Zora's showmanship with a few small twirls of her own. "But you know what they say," and she settled into a stance to response to his. "The bigger they are..."the harder they fall."

She delivered the line with her first strike, lunging forward and swiping low to bring him a bit more down to size.

After ~~eventually~~ knocking Exterminator off her platform, Leviathan gave a bright laugh of victory and a very elaborate spin of his pugil stick that was clearly showing off a bit, but, come on, spears and tridents were his preferred weapon; this all just felt very natural to him, just with a bit less...stabbing.

Once his showmanship was out of the way, though, he turned to his next opponent with an eager grin and a ready stance.

"Are you prepared to face your fate in battle, Dean Skywalker?"

"Like it used to be my job," Anakin said, grinning back.

Anakin vs Hurricane with Anakin victorious!

Anakin was really starting to getting into this game, grinning at his next opponent. "Ready?"

Anakin vs Shuri, and Anakin is on a roll! He wins it again!

"Hello," Anakin said with a grin.

Will Lilac finally put an end to Anakin's streak?

YEAH SHE DO. Lilac is the victor!

"Hey, Professor Bus Dean!" Vette was giving Anakin her sunniest smile. "Paintball again sometime if I win this?"

Shooting brats in the butt had been fun, okay?

"Paintball even if you don't win," Anakin said. "Which you won't. I'm on a streak."

Which meant he was tiring out more than he'd admit to, too.

Hey, Vette totally knew how that went. She was also grinning and bouncing on her toes, because yes, paintball!

"Score!" And then she was absolutely just swinging that oversized q-tip right at his knees.

Anakin did that show-offy Jedi half twisting flip over her head to avoid it and aimed his q-tip at her back in retaliation.

... She needed to stop getting cocky after a victory.

Liam vs Tip, who finally makes an appearance and crushes it! Tip is the victor!

Tip vs Spectre, and Spectre is the victor!

See Kanan, see Kanan offer Tip a smile. He wanted to ask how she was doing after having a week to heal a little, but now... probably wasn't the time.

And so he nodded faintly and raised his... weird giant q-tip.

"Ready?"

Spectre vs Chill, and Spectre is the victor!

All Students have been eliminated. Spectre wins this round.

And now Kanan was starting to find his groove again, giving that jousting... thing... a spin in one hand and then settling into a ready stance.

Bring it, Chill.
