Summer Shenanigans, Wednesday, August 21, 2019
"Hello again, everyone!" Anakin yelled through the megaphone from his spot on a chair where he looked a little wan, but decidedly not dead. "Welcome to the last shenanigans of the summer. To commemorate us being done--" with everything. Anakin was so done with everything, "--we are going to do a couple of different relay races."

Relay Races!
Hula Hoop Hysteria
[OOC: RNG says the teams finish as follows: Dingle, So Stone Beige, Smitter, Pharp, and Moop Death!]
Re: Hula Hoop Hysteria
In about two hundred years from now, such a task would be nigh impossible, but thank goodness for Sidon's extreme youth and still being a growing Zora! It certainly took some doing, especially with his height, working around the shape of his head, and having to deal with the fact that his limbs were hardly as evenly proportioned as his teammates'. But he supposed the good thing was that he could go first, so that the extra time it took for the hula hoop to get past those extra couple feet and get a little caught on his torso fins might hopefully be made up by the rest of the chain.
Re: Hula Hoop Hysteria
Re: Hula Hoop Hysteria
It was her default state, okay.
Re: Hula Hoop Hysteria
"Anyone mind if I go first?" he asked, grabbing the hula hoop with one gloved hand and holding out the other so someone could (ugh) take hold of it.
Re: Hula Hoop Hysteria
Amaya and her also gloved hands.
If that might at least make things a little better for him.
Re: Hula Hoop Hysteria
That Amaya was also wearing gloves was reassuring, definitely. There'd be no chance of anything... accidentally... seeping through, that way.
"Sounds like a plan."
Also Liam was the tallest person on the team by a number of inches, so at least (much like Sidon's reasoning, albeit Liam definitely had an easier time there by far, being human-shaped) they could get his attempt to get through the hoop out of the way first.
Re: Hula Hoop Hysteria
Though she was a little distracted by the emotions coming off Liam, and wondering if she should say anything.

Water Bucket Relay
Everyone's gonna get drenched, but at least it's not kombucha this time?
[OOC: RNG says the winners go as follows: So Stone Beige, Smitter, Dingle, Moop Death, Pharp!]
Re: Water Bucket Relay
(thanks, google!), so this....was going to take some doing. And a lot of bending.
Or actually, how about he just went down on his knees? Ah, yes, that might work much better!
But again, he did have that whole 'elaborately finned to resemble a shark' head to navigate around as he tried passing the cups over it.
Good thing he would never mind getting a bit damp!
Re: Water Bucket Relay
Nobody had explicitly said she couldn't, anyway. And besides, it wasn't as if she were able to keep it perfectly still. Just still enough that maybe they wouldn't get as drenched as they might have otherwise.
Re: Water Bucket Relay
Melon Madness
Anakin has extra watermelons for when this breaks.
[OOC: RNG says the results are: Pharp, So Stone Beige, Moop Death, Dingle, and Smitter!]
Re: Melon Madness
Of course, him being a bit naturally slippery didn't help much with the slipperiness of the watermelon, either.
He was grateful, yes again, for being the head of his line, so that his struggles would get out of the way at the beginning with the hopes of catching up, instead of toward the end. Best get the frustrations out first, he supposed!
