"So, last week's class never happened," Tony said once everyone arrived. "Or at least most of the 'lessons' are going to be ignored because island weirdness."
So much island weirdness.
"We are very much not okay with people spying on you without your knowledge to judge you on things you might not have even done. I blew up a couple of helicarriers to make that point more obvious to my government," Steve added.
"He actually did," Tony added. Because Steve was a drama queen of the highest order. "But that's a story for another time. Today is our last class of the summer."
"So we're going to do one last trip into public transportation, because trying to get places on time can be the most aggravating part of living in the urban wilderness," Steve said.
"But nothing is worse than trying to get somewhere when there is a citywide festival or a major sports event going on at the same time," Tony said. "Unfortunately we programmed both of those things for you."
"Because it's much easier to learn in the hypothetical then get screamed at by a ninety year old woman in a Yankees cap because she thinks you cut her off on the way to the subway," Steve muttered.
"He's a Dodgers fan," Tony mock whispered. "It's been a pleasure having you all in our class and we hope to see you again in the fall."

Just totally get distracted trying to jump for the balloon for the little girl. It seemed more his speed than getting onto that train anyway.

... Though from what she'd heard of it, this place's music was very different than the kind she was used to.
Strangely enough, she didn't have much trouble weaving through crowds. People tended to give the large mountain cat a very wide berth.
