Cutthroat Games- Monday- 1st period

"Right, so it smells horrifying outside," Anakin began, holding up a red ball that most kids from Earth-based realities would be familiar with from elementary school gym classes, "so we'll do our first sporting event indoors."

Aren't you excited, kids?

"This is a game called dodgeball," Aeryn said. "In this game, you throw balls at each other, and dodge them."

Self-explanatory, there.

"You will be separated into two teams, and have to stay on your half of the court. There will be two balls in play that you have to throw at the other team. If you're hit, you're out. If you catch it, the person who threw it is out," Aeryn continued. "There will be no throwing the ball at players' heads, no powers, and since we're a small class we're going to play three matches. Sidon, Billy and Bobby, you'll be on one team, and Lana, Janet and I will be on another."

There are two balls on the center line. Scramble for the balls at the whistle, and then start throwing.

RNG determines Lana's the last one standing this time.

See, the thing with these targeted games was that they were really hit and miss (ha!) with Sidon. On the one hand, he was easily the most obvious target in the whole room. On the other hand, he was still an excellent shot with most missile objects and he could be terribly competitive when he wanted to be.

He was not expecting to last long, it was true, due to the fact that he wouldn't be hard to miss. So that just meant he'd have to make up for it in getting the other team first and set to the task of trying to take them out, starting with Lana, on the simple merit that she was really the one on the other team he knew the best, and so, oddly enough, he felt less bad about trying to hit her with a red rubber ball.
