"Well, sure. Baby." Parker's still gleeful. "But any time he has another one, let me know. Your dress was gorgeous. I'd love to attend a show."
Parker finishes up the summer sausage and the caviar, then divvys up the grapes, the gouda, and the shrimp.
The grapes are hoarded, except one. The gouda is put away, except for a teeny slice next to the grape. And the shrimp are kept for Parker, because she really, really likes shrimp.
Excpet for one that goes next to the gouda and the grape.
Parker paused, not sure how to explain this without lying for a second. But it's too important, and if they find anything, her friends will all be there anyway.
"I haven't been back there since my mom died." She took a deep breath. "And I have a lot of questions about that. I'll explain more when we're in private some time. But not where there's-- shrubbery problems." She carefully wiped up the last of the crumbs. "I'm hoping that maybe they could find things in the house that were important to my mom, since one's psychic and the other's Jedi. Does that make sense?"
She glances behind Zero, and her eyes widen. "Teal deer."
"Hunh." Parker frowned. "Could've sworn I saw something blue over by-- right. Special Collections." She paused. "That explains where parts of my lunch went."
"We'll have to leave out more gouda and grapes for them. And maybe some little shrimp. Set up a photo blind." Parker nodded thoughtfully, slowly starting to grin. "Ya think?"
"It might be our best shot at getting a photo of the little darlings. Besides holding a speech contest." Well, she'd made her bed. Now she had to lie in it. "Who would've thought teal deer liked shrimp?"

Re: Lunch
The shrimp disappears first.
Re: Lunch
"Reminds me. I was thinking of asking Anakin or Bridge along for the weekend after this one. Are you okay with that?"
And the last strawberry jam crudite is eaten by Parker. Because they're really really yummy. And she already knows the teal deer like them.
Re: Lunch
"No, 'course I don't care. More the merrier, as far as I'm concerned. But why Anakin or Bridge?"

Zero whipped around. "Where?"
