The Gladiators would come into the Danger Shop that day to find the area focused around a large foam pyramid, so if anyone was wondering what they might be doing for this week's challenge, Rosa might let you skip wearing the helmet this week because there was clearly nothing up there that needed to be protected.

"Alright, Gladiators," she nodded once they all seemed settled, "this is the Pyramid. The goal is simple: get to the top. But, of course, it won't be that simple. Two of you have been chosen to defend the top of the pyramid. Do whatever it takes to make sure the other gladitors don't reach the top. Lilac, Crap Horse," oh, look, it's evolved! Thanks, Nightmare!, "since one of you had the most knock-offs last week and the other somehow miraculously managed to stay on his platform the whole time, you get to be the defenders. We'll be going in rounds in pairs of two; the first one to the top gets the chance to compete again for ultimate champion, which...might give you an advantage next week.

"Any questions? If not, let's gear up and get going. Lilac and Crap Horse, head on up and get ready to defend the territory; the rest of you, get limber, get stretched, and get ready."

"Hey, Nexu!"

Was Vette pretty much pitching herself right down from the top of the pyramid at Lana?

You better believe she was.

She was defending! See?

"Gah!" Lana braced herself and caught Vette, but even with the Force only managed to send them into a controlled tumble so no bones were broken.

She gave Vette a look from the bottom of their pile. "One of these days I'm going to decide to be a good Sith and just let you hurt yourself."

Vette gave her a grin that was practically beatific.

"Only way I'll ever learn, right?"

It wouldn't happen. Vette would never, ever learn.

And Lana would always be a loyal friend.

She sighed.

And used the Force to pick Vette up.

By the ankle.

"Whoop!"

You know, even hanging upside-down, Vette really didn't have the fear of the big scary Sith shaken into her yet? She was mostly just grinning at Lana, but upside-down now, tips of her lekku curled against the floor.

"Hey, this is great," she decreed. "If you could just drop me off back at the top of the pyramid..."

"I should drop you on your head," Lana groused.

Before floating her over to the top of the pyramid.

And then dropping her, mostly gently, on her head.

Vette managed to more or less recover from that with splayed arms and a bit of a twist of her body that was probably way too telling about just how flexible she really was.

Little sneak.

"Thanks, kitty kitty kitty!"

Lana made a rude noise, dusted herself off, and went to watch the others.
