Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

So this week had been... less than great overall, but everyone in town was okay again (as okay as they ever were, at least) and now there were new people to welcome to the island! Thankfully, the weather was warm and sunny, perfect for anyone who wanted to take part in some shirtless shenanigans, and the front lawn of the school was all set up for yet another tasty picnic. There were tables of blank name tags, lists of information, and enough food to probably feed two Fandoms. Time to be welcoming!

[OCD is up! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Oh goodness, a girl was looking for him. That was... literally a first.

He did his best to puff out his chest to look impressive. "Well then, I'm the Okuyasu you're looking for, probably."

It was, he guessed, possible there was another.

If there was, then Nina was totally willing to just sibling the both of them, so either way, she was definitely looking for him.

She clapped her hands together and beamed as she took in her new sibling.

"That's, like, great!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad to meet you!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm Nina, and the school has, like, asked me to be your big sibling while you're here!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And he was now doomed to a life of exclamation marks.

"Well then, you've got some big shoes to fill," Okuyasu said. "But you're definitely prettier than my actual big brother."

Who was dead, but he wasn't about to bring up that bummer in his first interaction. "If only for the fact that no one told me I was going to end up in the future."

He was still baffled by that part. "I didn't even think time travel was possible!"

"I'll do my best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she laughed, hopping off the chair to grin up at him. "I don't really understand how it works either because, like, I'm from a totally different universe so, like, the idea of coming to the future is one I don't really get either???????????? Do you like the future so far?????????????"

"You're from a what now?" Okuyasu said, looking totally lost and like this was hurting his brain.

Because it was.

"The future seems pretty okay, I guess, but this is all a lot to take in."

"There's so much to take in," she agreed, and it was true, but it wasn't going to stop her from breaking his brain at least a little bit.

Sibling duty and all.

"And I'm from a different universe, like I said!!!!!!!!"
