Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2019, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]

Although there weren't as many sun-allergic people attending the graduation ceremony these days, traditions were meant to be upheld. As the sun went down, the finishing touches of decorations were made, and everything was finally ready. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, and there were chairs set up for all of the graduates, along with plenty of seats for guests to come and watch. The weather was behaving itself, and it looked like it would be a nice, calm spring evening.

Congratulations, Class of 2019! Your big day is here!

Blame the panic-induced adreneline Prompto was riding just then. Blame the fact that Prompto was a giant dork even on his best days. Or simply blame the fact that the hottest girl out there right now (which was not even a matter of opinion; it could arguably be a quantifiable fact) was seriously blowing him a kiss right now.

Whatever the reason (probably every single one of them), Prompto was going to take that errant kiss heading his way like a metaphorical bullet to the heart, hands over his chest on the impact before swooning back into his chair with a dreamy sort of sigh.

You know what? If he did totally get Dad-killed by the end of the weekend, he'd had a pretty good run. He could totally make peace with that.
