Library, Monday
It was the week before prom. Which meant the island was being very . . . week before prom.
Tip hated this week. As she'd gotten older it had gotten harder and harder to ignore, as much as she really wanted to. Look, she was a teenager. She already had trouble ignoring this sort of thing. None of this was even remotely fair.
Which would be why she was spending her library shift basically glued to her chair at the circulation desk, poking disconsolately at her computer, trying to ignore . . . basically the entire internet. Because she was at work, dammit. And also she resented the damned pollen making her body feel things, especially when she had zero interest in actually acting on any of the things she was feeling.
Instead, she was looking at dinosaurs. Good old, non-sexy dinosaurs. Oh hey, there was even some dinosaur fiction on here!
