"Hello, class! Today we'll be talking about one of the most important figures in the Justice System: The Judge."

"The judge is the Mayor of Justice City. He tells the police they can arrest an evildoer, referees the trials that determine if a person is innocent or guilty, looks off to the side when a superhero causes minor property damage while fighting The Good Fight, and looks keen in a snazzy black robe. The judge is, simply put, the guy to be!"

"Judges get to be judges by being keen lawyers first. If they do their job and impress people enough, they can upgrade from their position as mild-mannered attorneys to become Kings of the Justice Hill!"

"Once you are a judge, it's your right and responsibility to look at the law and make decisions based on it. So while they wield a lot of power, they also have to be careful about using it because it can be used as precedent."

"Today, I'd like you to just talk about judges and the court system a bit. Also be sure to take a little bit of time to work with your group! Your project is due Tuesday!"

Veronica tilted her head. "Is she into scrapbooking? She could help too, I guess."

Angel grinned. "Who do you think gave me the shirt?"

"Well that makes sense," Veronica teased. "We all know you wouldn't buy something that wasn't black. But seriously, I love photography, so scrapbooking seems like a natural hobby for me to pick up."

"Photography could certainly be a part of it."

"Well maybe our next double date you guys could teach me," she suggested. "I don't think Logan would be into it, but he might if he finds out you are."

Aaaand that's when Angel choked on his coffee.

"Um. I don't think that's going to happen."

"Are you okay?" Veronica asked when Angel started choking.

"And you're probably right. I think I used up all my 'you'll do it if you love me' points with the tea party last night."

Angel batted his eyes at her. "Pictures?"

"Maybe..."

"Don't I look cute and adorable?"

"I don't think I want to answer that question," she said, glancing at Logan and Callisto. "I mean, if you think Cal would kill me for asking you to teach me how to scrapbook, admitting you're cute and adorable could get me in a lot more trouble, right?" she asked in her best innocent tone.

"Depends on how you meant it," Angel pointed out. "Sean's adorable, I don't think anyone would get upset with you for saying so."

"Well, I don't even have copies yet," Veronica admitted. "But I'll think about sharing them when I get them."

Angel batted his eyes again.

Veronica tilted her head.

Angel tilted his in return.

Not that he had her powers, but as long as they were speaking silently he wanted to keep up.

Veronica kept her head tilted and idly started twirling a strand of hair, wondering how long this silent battle could go on.

You couldn't do that kind of thing with ~~all the gel~~ short hair. Fortunately Angel had other non-verbal weapons to fall back on.

He steepled his hands together.

Veronica raised her eyebrows and smiled sweetly.

Angel quirked an eyebrow in return.

Veronica stuck her tongue out. ~~and ignore the ooc on the icon plz!~~

Angel gave her a sideways look.

Veronica winked.

Angel grinned. "You realize ultimately in any fight over which one of us can make the most faces, I'm gonna win."

"That's fine," she said with a smug smile. "I made you talk first though."
