Zero looked a little dismayed by the packet of information Professor Dream had left her. "Right then, as you know, Professor Dream is away, so today and Monday, I'll be running the class. And we are going to be studying...sharks. Joy. We have this DVD to watch, and these...does this say...we have these Landshark vocabulary sheets to study."

She hit 'play' on the DVD player and could be heard to mutter, "I hate sharks."

I'm sorry I didn't know.

It's a very very old Saturday Night Live skit.

It's from when Jaws first came out and it was a spoof of that movie.

A young woman would be home alone and there'd be a knock at the door.

The woman would say "Who is it?"

And then you'd hear Chevy Chase say "Candygram."

And she'd open the door an a big foam shark head would pop out and
eat her.

There are several variations on that, but that's the basic skit.

Trust me, it's funny.

Hee. It was very strange to check my e-mail and find everyone talking about candygrams. Now I have to figure out what the heck I'm going to do about this for Monday's class.

Thanks. That would make me much less confused.

I think I'm going to have Zero have screwed up and handed out the wrong vocab sheets, because...that's the only thing I can think of that will have you not asking our special guest about candygrams.
