Advanced Journalism (Wednesday, March 29, 3rd period)

"All right, ladies," Rita said. "We're going to start work on one of our big projects this semester. I understand that last semester, you did a largescale project involving an article on a fellow student, yes?"

She smiled. "Your final this term will be similar, but doubled. I want you to interview and profile a good friend. You'll be allowed to leave campus, need to take photos, everything you did last term. And then, as a contrast, you'll need to interview a person you do not know as well, and do the same. This will be expected to be a large, well-done project, which is why I'm telling you so far in advance. Questions?"

"He was a koala yesterday," she says, holding out the camera so Jaye and Molly can see.

"I don't know, but he was wee!" Rory said. "And he clinginated to her leg? And I fed him a cookie. Oh, and he vomited on her but he does that a lot."

"I missed the scary things," Molly said. She pulled her new camera out of her pocket and took a picture of Jaye and Rory because she could.

Then she turned to look at Rita. Once Molly was sure the professor wasn't really paying attention, she took a picture of her too.

"How'd ya make out with the birthday hull, pink princess?" D'anna considered adding her camera to the mix. Eh, what the hell, she did and took a group snap shot consisting of Rory's elbow, Jaye's nose and the tips of Molly's hair. "Bets on what he'll get turned into today?"
