Problem Solving and You! - Thursday
The tavern was up once again. Did the teachers just not know how to change it? Or did they just not care?
"Social interactions can be hard," Magnus said. "And sometimes you want cool duck friends, but they end up being murderous jerks and your hopes are just dashed."
"Well, ducks, that's your problem." Ducks were jerks. "Also sometimes getting things wrong socially can be deadly."
"Like, maybe you're trying to get information out if a guy and his half-ogre buddy whose stats are way, way, waaay higher than yours and you depend on someone else to do the talking and you gotta fight your way out..." Oddly specific again, Magnus.
"Or you have to distract some fool who thinks women should be simpering and only speak in rhyme and has the power to enforce his idiocy." Magnus wasn't the only one who could be overly specific.
Magnus offered her a high-five. "So, we've got those three examples in the tavern. See if you can deal with them. With punches."
Cara high fived him back. Magnus would've understood her pain with the Margrave. Especially because Zedd probably would've thrown him to the wolves too.
