After class, Rory approached Rita's desk, and took a deep breath.

"Professor Skeeter? I need to talk to you," she said quietly. "It's important."

Rory jerked her hand back. "Sorry, ma'am." She fidgeted with her hands. "Um. I wanted to ask you to please stop calling me...that name on the radio. Please. Or I'll have to talk to Principal Washburn."
