"Don't touch that," Rita said sharply.

Rory jerked her hand back. "Sorry, ma'am." She fidgeted with her hands. "Um. I wanted to ask you to please stop calling me...that name on the radio. Please. Or I'll have to talk to Principal Washburn."

Rita actually glanced up at that.

"Of course," she said with an actual smile. "I'll stop if you like."

Rory blinked.

"That's all it took?"

"You never asked," Rita said. "Mr. Skywalker did, but as he isn't you, I didn't think he should be making your decisions and disregarded it. So I'll certainly stop now that you've asked."
