Zero opened up the library and took up a place behind the desk. She's in a very good mood this morning for some reason.

"How's your project for ACJ going?" Parker shut her book, looking thoughtful. "Everything okay, working with the Lieutenant?"

"Sure, everything's going smurfy. We're gonna kick smurfy butt," Cameron didn't seem too bothered about it.

Parker gave him a highly entertained look. "Smurrrrrfy? Heh. Well, I'm glad. I thought you guys might have some weirdness because of Jaye. Yay on that not being an issue."

"Ah, we haven't really brought it up." He shrugged. "I guess it could have been, but... it's not. So, yeah. Smurfy. Are you smurfy?"

"I could be?" Given enough blue and white and the ability to speak above the range dogs could hear. "Mine and Anakin's project seems to be shaping up okay. Yay, Darwinian Karma. So sure. Smurfy."

"Cool," he nodded and rested his chin on his hands. "We got interupted by a 15 year old last night."

"We did. We were talking rebounds and flings and the endings of same." She cocked her head. "Not exactly something Molly should being thinking about yet, so yeah."

"Joseph, no." Cameron agreed quickly. "So your fling is over and you're moving on to the greener pastures you were so sure wouldn't come?"

Parker stuck her tongue out at him. "Not to insult Jack, but yes." Her face might have been turning red. "And it's-- different. Really, really different."

Cameron smiled. "Different good?"

"Different wonderful." Parker hugged herself, and smiled. "And scary. Wow, so much scarier than sex." She shook her head. "If this is what you felt like for Vala, I get how upset you were over the break-up a lot better now."

Cameron's smile faltered a bit and he looked down. "It's not easy to let go."

She studied him soberly, then said, "I'm sorry to bring her up, then. It's just-- this is so new, I keep catching myself being goofy about Jarod. And trying to figure out all the reasons why."

"There's a whole lot of reasons," Cameron said ans shrugged off his mood, smiling again. "It's okay, I'm good actually. It just catches me by surprise sometimes."

"I'm glad it's better." Parker grinned at him. "Is Jaye part of that, you think?"

He blushed a bit and cleared his throat. "She hasn't made it worse."

"That's good. Very good." She tilted her head. "So, you tell me: is it more than a fling now? Or are you on the lookout for greener pastures still?"

"Still a fling," Cameron shrugged as that was the last agreement they had and yeah, he wasn't sure what it was by now. "No pastures."

"That's good. You can stay in that spot for a long time. Although, Jack and I had a mutual wandering-into-other-pastures agreement that got exercised once or twice." She sighed and looked doleful, but not deeply. "No more wandering. Oh well."

Her grin was completely at odds with her words.

"No wandering isn't too bad, it's usually worth it too." Cameron told her, shaking his head. "We don't have that, though. I mean, she's free to do what she wants..." He'd probably bust something trying not to be jealous, though.

She bumped her shoulder against his. "If you're sure. It would suck if the fling was all one-sided, and Jaye wanted more."

Parker smirked. "It's shiiiiiiiny." She shrugged. "What else is there to say?" She poked at him lightly. "But hey. No cross-examination. I promised."
