Practical Ethics, Tuesday, Period 3

“Today we're going to tackle the ethics of breaking up with someone,” Anakin began.

"If there's attempted murder involved, you've probably done it wrong." You'd know, Aphra.

And so would Anakin. Cough. These were definitely the worst people this side of Deadpool to advise you on anything, kids.

"You're definitely doing it wrong. But apparently running off to another planet and never calling back is also wrong?"

Who knew!

"Effective though." Aphra, no! "But then they get really upset if you pretend you didn't do that next time you want to hook up."

"Or sometimes you aren't supposed to be dating at all due to...religious reasons...and so you aren't supposed to have break-ups or hook-ups at all," Anakin said.

They were the least useful people ever to teach you about this.

"Oh, yeah, then you usually get the head of some order after you too for being a 'corrupting influence'." The actual worst, and Aphra hadn't even had her worst break-up yet.

"So...how would you approach a breakup?" Anakin asked the students.

Please, please tell them, kids. Because they clearly don't know.

At all.

The three longest relationships of Anakin's life had ended with marriage, trying to kill the other person, and marriage AND trying to kill the other person.

Do not listen to Anakin.
