"If you didn't want a creepy goat statue, you shouldn't have told me to steal one!"

"I didn't mean a gold one!" Anakin retorted. "Or even one at all!" Welcome to class, kids, with this week's argument already in progress.

And if anyone wanted to know just how creepy, Aphra had helpfully brought it to class as well, where it lay on the desk, its eyes following you around the room. "Well, I wasn't getting you a real one, I don't know anything about your livestock handling skills."

"That was the part that was holding you back?!"

Aphra primly crossed her arms. "I wasn't going to take care your goat for you. Pet ownership is an important responsibility. "

Anakin rolled his eyes. Hard. "Today's class will be about appropriate gift giving," he decided.

Aphra was feeling so attacked right now. "And accepting gifts graciously."

After he thought about this a little, in a way that he couldn't help frame in his own thoughts and eventual intentions, Sidon started to feel glad that he hadn't yet gotten around to speaking with Summer about the special order he had in mind. Was he wrong to think that perhaps a gift might be a good idea? He would hate for it to turn into...whatever was going on between the teachers at the moment.

Though he supposed, it wasn't like this bickering was anything unusual. For them.

"Pardon me," he ventured, "but I must admit, I am a little bit confused. Why is it that you find this gift so....objectionable, Master Skywalker? Just so that I'm clear..."

"Because apparently when someone says 'steal a goat' they don't actually mean it."

Very helpful, Aphra.
