Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

The tables and chairs had been scattered around the lawn - some near the food, some not, some in the shade, some not - and the food was ready for anyone who wanted to come by and greet the new people.

Enjoy your last picnic where shirtlessness will be enjoyable until next summer, folks!

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Ah!" Sidon said. "That must be why you're so keen on artifacts from Ryloth, then, correct? And why you'd be so interested in getting them back where they belong! I imagine I'd feel quite similarly if someone had acquired some relic that had belonged to my people and kept it sequestered away, collecting dust, as you say."

Not that the Zora really had anything like that, of course. The only thing he could even remotely consider an important relic would perhaps be Mipha's statue, or perhaps Vah Ruta itself, but good luck to anyone trying to swipe that!

"It's a bit irritating," Vette agreed, smiling wryly. "So we do what we can to bring little pieces of Ryloth home."

Or at least put them back in the hands of Twi'leks, instead.

"Honestly? A sudden flash of light and some weird lightning," Vette sighed. "One moment, hey! An artifact! This will look great in Twi'lek hands! And the next... balloons and glitter."

She was so confused.

Sidon smiled a little sympathetically at that. "Ah, an accidental one, then," he said. "Those happen sometimes, too. A shame, though, that it had to happen when it did! The least it could have done was waited a moment longer and then perhaps you'd have the artifact, too!"

"I know, right?!" Vette threw her hands up in frustration, but that sort of victorious kind because at least someone got why her coming here empty-handed was irritating. "I don't mind just ending up here, but at the very least, maybe I could have ended up here with the treasure for my troubles!"
