There was a giant stage in the middle of the park today. Are you worried, people whose names were about to be called?
Good.
"Today, inspired by the public service announcements you see in PE class," Anakin began, "you lucky chosen ones will get to write and perform an informational puppet show with sock puppets you create yourselves! Since you were so good at the instruments last week."
They were not that good at the instruments last week.
"You will be paired up and then spin the wheel of topics--" he waved his hand helpfully at a giant wheel in front of the stage, "and then perform before all of us. The second most impressive skit--by whatever metric I choose to use to measure that--wins the fish."
He waved his hand and the fish, now resplendent in a steampunk top hat and jetpack, flew into his hand, still warbling the Beastie Boys. He winced slightly. "Maybe by the time you pick it up, it will have stopped singing 'I'm a Little Teapot' directly into your brain."
He didn't sound that optimistic.
Good.

It also helped that it was Sabine.
"Deal," Astrid nodded, but there was actually a faint grin there, "as long as I get to make a Captain America puppet."
You knew it was a big deal if Astrid was insisting on something.

But her shrug was a casual one as she said, "Sure," reached out, and gave it a good
RNG, I SWEARspin. She narrowed her eyes as she read the label on which it finally settled. "Why Am I...Naked..." And here she paused to pass along an apologetic glance toward her roommate, but one that couldn't help reveling a little in the poetic justice, "Disorientation and Animal Transformations."
Because what else would it be??

"I see it's one of those days I'm going to hate this town," sge sughed, face palming. "Fine. Let's delve into my trauma."

Not that Astrid actually believed Sabine had been that bird, but Sabine was welcome to believe whatever narrative she wanted, and who was she to refute it? She'd never get any sleep if she went around trying to make the case against this place's craziness.
