Fun with Magic | Monday, 2nd period

Bob had only arrived, courtesy of Harry, the evening before. Now he stood straight and squinted at the students that had signed up for this class.

"Right, you lot. I'm Hrothbert of Bainbridge, but you can all call me Bob. I hope you're ready to have some fun."

Didn't he look like fun?

"Before we get started, introductions. I want your name, what sorts of magic you're used to, and any magical abilities - or anything else interesting - you may have yourself. You," he pointed at a random student. "Begin."

"Jason," he said, giving a little wave. "I don't think my world has magic." Just aliens who could build giant creatures out of gold. Totally normal sciencey stuff there. "I just signed up for this class cause it seems like there's magic here sometimes and I dunno, I thought it'd be neat." He did have some stuff that would qualify as 'anything else interesting', technically, but he wasn't actually supposed to talk about that.
