History of Art / Studio Art Combined Studio | March 24, Periods 5&6

Most of interior of the classroom has been cleared of furniture. What remains has been stacked at the front of the class, along with a selection of things like packing crates, pilates balls, stepladders, that sort of thing.

Autolycus grinned like a maniac. "Today, kids, you're going to work together to create an installation."

"Rita Skeeter told everyone I was an alien." Although she said it with a smile, the way she slammed the crate she was moving down was a good sign that Isabel was not happy.

"What? How in the hell did she find out?" Angel asked.

[ooc: NP!]

"Haven't a clue," Isabel said breezily. She stepped back and studied the crates. Which looked like, stacked crates. A wave of her hand they became brightly colored stack crates. "What do you think? I have no idea what it is, but at at least they're colorful."

"I think maybe you need to take a step back," Angel said, looking at her with worry now. "This isn't like you."

"It's okay," she smiled. "It's not like it's a big secret anymore. I might as well have fun with what I can do."

"Okay," Angel said, looking between Isabel and Parker. "I don't, you know, drink the water or anything so maybe you could tell me if somebody put something in it today?"

"No!" Parker's laughing again, only a little calmer. "I just-- am having a great day. A really great day. Get a grip. This is what I look like when I'm *thrilled*. Take a picture so you remember." She cocks her head at Isabel, then shrugs at Angel in response to that part of the question.

"Yes," Angel said, "but you thrilled is creeping me out."

"Awwwwwwwwwww."

Yes, she really said that.

Then grinned.

She might be enjoying the freaking out almost as much as the original reason she was happy.

"Want some glitter?"

"Don't make me take desperate measures, Parker. 'cause I will."

At which point, Parker slides off her Pilates ball and just giggles, both hands over her face, trying to get a grip on herself and not really succeeding.

Angel stood over her, a diabolical grin on his face. "I have a pencil, a sketchpad, and photographic memory of all the things Cal and I have been doing to make up for lost time. Do you want me to mix these things together? Do you?"

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
"Ack!" Gigggling turns to coughing, more giggling, then successive wheezes as Parker slowly pulls it together, one hand over her mouth to hide the smile. "Mmph. Meerp?"

"All right then," Angel said. He held his hand out to help her stand.

Parker takes his hand, and carefully gets to her feet. She's not bouncing, just smiling a little, but she's trying to keep her eyes on her feet as she sways. "Ahem. Wow. And if that wasn't a bucket of cold water, I don't know what is."

Smiling, yeah, but not too brightly. Yup. Almost normal.

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm here to help," Angel said. He gave her a pat on the back.

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
"Thanks." Another deep breath. "Yup. Dignity. Returned." She grinned. "I'm-- going to go throw glitter on Isabel. So I can work some of this off. Heh."

Re: The Installation!

[identity profile] notstakedyet.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
"You do that," Angel said, standing well outside of glitter range.

While Parker gleed, Isabel started throwing (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/745801.html?thread=35673673#t35673673) snowballs (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/745801.html?thread=35669833#t35669833).
