History of Art / Studio Art Combined Studio | March 24, Periods 5&6

Most of interior of the classroom has been cleared of furniture. What remains has been stacked at the front of the class, along with a selection of things like packing crates, pilates balls, stepladders, that sort of thing.

Autolycus grinned like a maniac. "Today, kids, you're going to work together to create an installation."

Isabel waved back at Xander and watched. When what he was doing became apparent, she crumpled up a sheet of paper and threw it at him. Snowball Fight!

Xander blinked, though mediocre reflexes did manage to cause the 'snowball' to bounce off his raised hand - and roll across the floor, because he sure as hell didn't catch it - instead of his head.

It wasn't that she didn't have the right idea, just that this was not exactly the mood she'd been in when he got home this morning, and the other one? Made more sense.

Still, a snowball fight is a snowball fight. He retrieved her paper-ball and started stockpiling a few more of his own, stacking them 'inside' the 'fort.'

Thwap! Another paper ball came across the room to hit him in the back.

Xander spun around to tilt his head at her, but he guessed if she was trying to take her mind off things...

He shrugged and grabbed a snowball of his own, readying it to toss back at her.

A wave of her hand and the incoming snowball went in a completely new direction. Back at Xander. It probably felt cold and wet when it hit him. ~~But it was a wee snowball so it really didn't hurt.~~ Isabel smile widely and winked.

Parker smothered a laugh, and then threw glitter at Isabel. "Hey! Shiny snow!"

Isabel had to laugh. Parker was definitely in a happy place today.

Bridge? Knows glee when he sees it. And despite the weirdness of the past few days, cannot help but feel glee at the fact that someone *else* has glee.

"S'about time, dude." he says, bouncing over as he sees Parker throwing glitter.

Parker spins on her heel, and throws glitter in the air. "About time?" She turns red. "Oh, God. How obvious is it, anyway?"

"Only a liiiiiiittle. Really." Bridge says with a grin. "Psychic, remember?" He adds with a wink.

She laughed, and pushed at his shoulder a little, still grinning. "So, is my aura all neon and lit up? Or does the carbonation fizz remain invisible?"

Bridge tilts his head at her and sticks his tongue out, but says nothing.

Parker grins back. "Glitter? Snowball? Jell-O? Hug?"

Because today, she could actually do that.

"Yes, no, no, yes." Bridge replies.

Parker threw glitter up in the air, and the impulsively hugged him. "I'm so damn happy it's scary."

"I like it," Bridge says decisively. "Happy is good."

She smiled at him, eyes bright. "Appreciate it while it lasts. I'm sure I'll be back to something closer to normal soon." Well, she hoped not. But she didn't want to jinx it.

Xander grinned, still somewhat confusedly, and wiped snow from his hair. Then he ducked behind the fort and lobbed a machine-gun fast volley of paper snowballs blindly over the wall.

Since he wasn't looking, it's highly possible they hit no one, but as long as he didn't look, they could have hit everyone. ~~Schrodinger's Balls!~~
