Anakin came into the classroom and frowned at the giant X painted on the floor, with the helpful "STAND HERE!" sign next to it.
He glanced up to see five gremlins holding a giant ACME anvil above their heads.
"I'm not going to ask," he said. "I'm not." He glared at them. "And no biting anyone."
There was zero chance of that happening.
"Right, so today we're going to have a bit of a discussion about a hypothetical situation. What, hypothetically, do you think would happen if someone stole a panda bear on a school-sponsored field trip?"
Rey.

Discuss!
Re: Discuss!
Slightly. A little.
But he did sort of manage a kind of hedged, "Aren't the pandas a protected species? Like, protected by the government of China or something like that? I mean... besides not having bamboo to feed them here on the island so they don't starve to death, there's probably an international incident somewhere in there, right?"
And then he got back to casting a suspicious look up at the gremlins.
They were distracting, okay?
Re: Discuss!
Rey’s first meeting with her Luke was going to involve a long conversation about his judgey dad.
Re: Discuss!
...no, no, no, Sidon, you mustn't allow yourself to be distracted from the task at hand. He shook his head and focused, trying to consider the scenario and ignore the X.
"Perhaps the person rather needed the panda," he postulated eventually. "Then nothing should happen, as they merely took what was needed."
Yeah, the people of Hyrule had very...casual concepts of possession.
"Or perhaps the panda wished to be taken. Though I suppose stole is the key word in this scenario; that certainly does suggest that some harm was done or some law broken. In which case, I believe the panda should be returned post haste, and the wronged person should be the one to decide the punishment based on the rule of his or her land."
He nodded, then, satisfied with that answer and feeling it covered most of the bases pretty well.

Chompy!
Re: Chompy!
Which was why, dear class, your very dignified teacher had just perked his head up, tilted it slightly, chirped "MEEP MEEP" and raced out the door.
Sorry, kids, the Jedi thinks he's a roadrunner now.
