Library, Wednesday

It was just a normal day in the library. No book shenanigans. No gremlin shenanigans. No missing ladders. No anything.

Just Peridot, putting books back on the shelves, organizing things, cleaning up. Like a nice, normal library shift.

It was really, really weird.

"So." It had been way too long since Summer visited Peridot in the library, and after reporting on it for, like, ever, she figured she was overdue. "What the heck is up with you and all those gremlin?"

Gremlins who were noticeably absent right now. She had definitely checked, because she didn't exactly want to spoil her current bite-free streak any time soon.
