Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II
Over on this part of the school lawn... yeah, it was still chilly. Stupid winter, doing its winter thing. But there were plenty of chairs and tables for people watching, feasting on warm foods and drinks, and generally attempting to meet the new folks!
[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Re: General Mingling [Spring 2018]
"Cool," she said, entering the information into her own phone. "Thanks, Norman. I'll text you the deets, but basically, second floor common room, New Years shindig, no big deal. Hope to see you there."
She didn't look up from her phone that whole time and turned to go, but then stopped to add, "My name's Summer, by the way. Summer Smith."
Because that was kind of how introductions went and everything.
Re: General Mingling [Spring 2018]
"Good to meet you, Summer. And... thanks for the invitation."
He wasn't terribly certain he was actually wanted at the party, and there was a pretty good chance that he'd chicken out and decide to go sit at the graveyard or something to meet the locals, instead. But, hey, look. An invitation, on his first day on the island.
And then he kind of blinked up and squinted off into the middle distance for a moment while he wrapped his head around seeing a dinosaur ghost tromping by. Sure, they were all dead, but they'd had millions of years to get over it and move on.
What was this place?
Re: General Mingling [Spring 2018]
She expected to see that giant fish dude or maybe Mr. Deadpool or maybe Ahsoka or Miss Hera, but...nope. Just weird loner tree-sitters probably doing weird loner tree-sitter things.
"Right. Cool. I, uh, guess I'll see you later."

He was already the weird kid, wasn't he?
Great, he was already the weird kid.
