Atton met them all at the Danger Shop, wasting absolutely no time. "Suit up," he called. "It's gonna be cold as soon as you cross that threshold over there. You've got 45 minutes until the sun sets, and you need something to eat. Your job is going to be to find some. I'd suggest shooting something and cooking it, but hey, you can try other ways if you want to. Once you have your food, you're going to want to get somewhere warm."

Get your gear. Make sure it's snug and warm. Layer up!

This should be easy enough. Breq had been to cold planets before and had a good idea about what was necessary, so she picked what looked most practical.

So now you're stuck in the snowy forest by yourself. How do you survive?

Well, you can scrounge and hope you find some berries, or you can find a deer or a rabbit to shoot and cook. Or you can keep going and hope you find something somebody else killed; just don't be surprised if its wolfy killer is still hanging out nearby.

Once you're done, there's several cabins in the area - you just have to find them first.

Shooting an animal would be the most efficient way, and would also make it possible to help classmates who were less experienced in situations like this.

After wandering around for a while, she found a deer, aimed and shot it without any effort. She was less skilled in skinning the animal but managed well enough. Arranging a small shelter and making a fire, she made herself comfortable, gnawing on roast meat and listening for predators or friends in need of help.

It's one of his bleurgh days.
