The Island Hates You (Yes, You), Thursday Period 2
The danger shop today was done up like a slumber party. Now, you might be thinking 'oh god what are they doing to us now?' but you'd be paranoid if you thought that. And they liked paranoid, so keep on keepin' on.
"Today we're going to discuss the importance of staying healthy. Most people don't have a good healer around to fix them up. Myself included." Magnus would literally never stop ragging on Merle. Never. "So, resting up is just as important as training."
"Even the smartest person can fall prey to stupid mistakes when tired," Cara added, neglecting to mention the context in which she'd learned this, because no one needed to know that.
Magnus nodded in agreement with that. "So, we're gonna take a short rest and everyone is going to recover some health!" Consult your Player's Handbook for for which dice to use for your level and class.
"Now out in the real world, it's a good idea to set up a watch so you don't get ambushed," Cara said. "But you don't need to worry about that today." Because they were nice. Also lazy. Also that reassurance should have left them paranoid enough without them doing anything.
"We even got some hot cocoa!" Magnus said. "That neither of us made. It's from Starbucks."
Wow, that was all so nice. And completely unlike all the classes before now.
Clearly there was nothing they needed to worry about.
