Tip spent her shift today reading spooky, supposedly true stories on the internet. For the most part, this was just good, wholesome, unbelievable fun, but every now and then one of them would be about actual human fuckheads stalking people, and she'd start side-eyeing the stacks and wishing her mom had let her bring Lincoln to school with her.

By lunch, she was twitchy and jumping a little at every noise. As suited the true spirit of the season.
