Today the Ethics class found itself in the Danger Shop, which had been set up as an extensive obstacle course. "A lot of life is working together with people you might have ethical dilemmas with," Anakin said. "We'll get into how not to smack those people with a Thanksgiving turkey as we get closer to the holiday season, but for now, let's work on cooperation through physical labor."

"Labor can be a great equalizer," Obi-Wan said solemnly. "When one is forced to work together, one's differences have a habit of disappearing."

Which was when he pulled out the sack.

From the Jedi Order that brought you "lift rocks because it's character-building!" "You'll do this while having to share a sack with a partner," Anakin said. "Decide which parts of the course are strengths and weaknesses for each of you and then complete the course. If it takes you longer than 15 minutes to discuss and run through it, you must do it again."

"Your partner will be assigned ~~by order of sign-in~~ randomly," Obi-Wan said serenely. "Good luck."

He waved his hand, revealing the full obstacle course.

There were cones. And sprinklers. And... slopes.

Good luck indeed.

Kaylin looked around for Jason.

"Right," Jason said, wandering over. "Let's do this, I guess?"

"We're supposed to stand in a bag together?" Kaylin asked. It seemed crazy, but this wasn't Deadpool's class, so they might be serious.

"I think we're supposed to," Jason mused. "But... that isn't actually what was said." Look, one of his best friends was always taking things extremely literally. So Jason had kind of started trying to do that too, in order to understand where Billy was coming from. "The exact word he used was share. Nothing was actually said about being in the sack at the same time. We could trade off. You take half the obstacles, I take half."

Kaylin considered that for a moment then nodded. "All right then. Which obstacles would you prefer to do?"

A bunch of cones are set up in a straight line. Weave around them, with all the grace you can manage in that sack.

That is definitely a field of grass full of sprinklers.

Not every square inch of the field is wet, but it's hard to tell.

It's a gentle wooden slope, at least. But it's still probably a pain in the ass while you're hopping along in a sack.

... and the last obstacle is a small bridge over a muddy pond.

No explanations required.
