Barbossa walked up to Auto's desk lugging something shiny, gold and Aztec-y with him.

"Professor?" he said. "I be sorry that I be missin' me classes--thar were a bit o' an opportunity t' advance meself in me preferred field o' art reclamation and I weren't given much notice about it."

He placed the artifact down with a heavy "thunk."

"Please be accepting this bribe this as a token o' me sincerest apologies."

Autolycus blinked at the artifact. "Shiiiiiiny... That's strange Mr Barbossa, I don't recall you missing any classes. 100 *handwavey* words on the classes you've missed and we'll call it square."
