BWI Airport Portalocity Lounge, Saturday Morning
All of Jughead's possessions fit inside a single backpack.
He didn't mind it. At least it was crammed as full as it could be crammed, that was good enough for him. And if he could keep people from figuring out that was the case, even better. This was supposed to be a break from –– everything. Riverdale and all associated drama.
Still, when he arrived in the lounge and checked his phone, he found himself wondering whether Archie even remembered he was moving today.
Whatever.
He dropped his backpack on the floor and leaned against the wall. Good. This seemed like a decent spot to stand in while eyeing everyone else warily.

Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Don't be the bitch, Summer.
"I'm Summer," she added, holding up a bag. "Want a Twizzler?"
It was real food. Well, kind of. It wasn't food in pill form, so this was a really big deal for her, ohmygod.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"Sure, if you don't mind sharing," she said. "I'm June. You headed to the school too?"
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
And she did mind, kind of, mostly because she didn't know how scarce real food (...kinda real food) would be at the school. But she was trying to make friends here, so she'd just have to deal. Besides, she was too busy giving off a big, heavy sigh.
"Yeah, sure am. And I'm super excited, can you tell?"
She wasn't super excited. Not at aaaalllllll...
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"Me too," June said, with a sigh of her own. "Super, super excited. My brother usually knows what he's doing, but I'm not so sure what he was thinking this time."
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
"Your brother?" she asked.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Which was probably obvious, but it didn't hurt to say it anyhow.
"Who sent you off?"
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Because she now felt kind of insensitive. Especially if it meant complaining about something that she had that June didn't and, man, the world sucked sometimes and that wasn't fair.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
It actually wouldn't be that long, but Summer was going to try to be stubborn about it.
Re: Wait for the Shuttle
She wasn't sure about that.
