Mon Mar. 20 - The librarian is in

Kurt had entered the library early in the morning, after a night of coffee with CJ. He was amazed by the place, especially the "special collections area". He nearly entered that part, but opted not to. Instead he just took the time to wander around, looking at all of the books, and getting a feel for the place.

Mostly he was just happy.

(ooc - Ok, finally Nightcrawler is in the library. Since I don't know the full protocal, Kurt went ahead and opened the library and is just lurking about. Mostly. Anyone want to meet the "fuzzy elf", come on down!)

Angela roamed down to the library, a little lost in thought.

Which did not stop her from being slightly startled at the sight of Kurt. She had been warned he was blue, but...

"Are you Mr. Wagner?" she asked, brilliantly.

Kurt turned around to face the young girl.

"Ja, I am Kurt. And you are?"

"Angela Chase. I'm one of the aides," Angela said, holding out her hand for Kurt to shake. "My friend Veronica told me a little about you."

"Ah! Yes, Veronica Mars," Kurt nodded. "I met her in the park, where she was worried about a sick friend of hers, Angel."

Kurt smiled. "If you see her, tell her I am glad to see her friend is better. I saw them at the play, but didn't want to intrude."

"We're all pretty grateful he's back to normal. Or, you know, normal for a vampire with a soul," Angela said after a moment's thought. "I didn't notice him at the play, but I was really fascinated by what was onstage."

She scratched her chin. "It was an ... unusual production."

"Oh? I thought it was quite nice," Kurt smiled.

"Oh yeah, I loved the costumes and sets. And some of the actors were great. But some people ... maybe you would need to know us? But some people didn't seem like themselves, somehow." She shrugged. "I guess that's why they call it acting."

"Ja," Kurt nodded. "Playing a different part for a time."

"Mmmm," Angela agreed. "So how do you like town so far?"

"It's nice, what I've seen of it. Very quaint," He winked. "I still am finding my way around. Something I need to do a lot of, otherwise 'porting won't be easy."

"It's pretty small. I've never gotten lost here," Angela told him. Then: "Wait, what's 'porting?"

Kurt laughed. "Sorry, 'porting. Teleporting. Ja, I have that gift."

"Would you care to see?" Kurt stepped back. "Don't be afraid," He cautioned.

*BAMF!*

With a cloud of sulphorous smoke he vanished, reappearing several feet away.

"Should come in handy for those hard to find books, eh?" He smiled as he walked back.

Parker waved to Angela after the other girl was done talking to the new Librarian, and said, "Hey. How goes your Monday?"

"It's a Monday," Angela said with a shrug. "I got to know Mr. Wagner. How's yours?"

"He seems nice ~~or will, I'm assuming, when we finish playing that out.~~ Today is better than the weekend was. But hey, not hungover, so that beats out last Monday." Parker grimaced. "I think I'm going to stop drinking when I'm upset. It just makes my stomach hurt."

"You aren't supposed to drink," Angela pointed out.

Then, impulsively, she pulled Parker into a hug. Or tried to, anyhow.

Parker rolled her eyes and didn't return it, but didn't push Angela away, either. She patted her arm, though. "I know you don't want me to hurt you."

Which is as close as she could get to thanks, I did need that.

"Not especially," Angela admitted, releasing the hug and stepping back.

"So. What was going on with the play, anyhow? From the audience it seemed like things were weird, even beyond the power outage. But you were great."

"Thanks. For all of the fifteen minutes it was me up there, I'm glad to hear it," Parker said dryly. "We were all possessed. Except for Quinn and one or two others, I think. The Fairies from the play decided they were critics, and possesed the entire freaking cast. And I do mean 'freaking.'" She rubbed her eyes. "Not my best night, you know?"

"Wouldn't be," Angela said. "You feel okay now? No, I don't know, residual wings, or urge to smite people?"

"The weirdest stuff happens at this school."

"Only the usual smiting urges of people who've screwed me over. But I don't know where Titania is, and it's probably a good idea to let it go. That is one seriously nasty bitch." Parker rubbed her face and grimaced. "Most bizarre high school play ever. I blame Rory."

"That's usually a good idea," Angela said solemnly. "Though I'm sure Professor Dream was probably helping the fairies."

She rolled her eyes. "At least you got through it, right?"

"Actually, he told them not to hurt anyone, or he'd boot their asses. Which I'm glad for, but I could've stood it if the Professor had done that as soon as they got there." Parker looked-- contemplative, chewing on her lower lip. "He knew Titania in about two seconds."

"And yeah, we got through it, no more play, and Xander doesn't hate me for treating him like a rent-boy. I haven't seen Lee to apologize to yet." Palming her face, Parker muttered, "And Jarod wants to go after the fairies."

"That sounds like a really bad idea," Angela said. "He can take care of hoimself, and all of that, but fairies... then again, could they be worse than vampires?"

"I have no idea. My worst problem with it is I think he'd have to go to their world, or land, or whatever, and then what is he going to do?" Parker's eyes narrowed. "I may have to thwart this idea before it gets off the ground. He was going to include me in on it, of course. And he can't get hurt if he never finds them."
