Mon Mar. 20 - The librarian is in

Kurt had entered the library early in the morning, after a night of coffee with CJ. He was amazed by the place, especially the "special collections area". He nearly entered that part, but opted not to. Instead he just took the time to wander around, looking at all of the books, and getting a feel for the place.

Mostly he was just happy.

(ooc - Ok, finally Nightcrawler is in the library. Since I don't know the full protocal, Kurt went ahead and opened the library and is just lurking about. Mostly. Anyone want to meet the "fuzzy elf", come on down!)

Janet showed up around fourth period, yawning and clutching her coffee. She slung her backpack down behind the Collections Desk and looked around for books to check in. She may or may not have spotted someone blue and fuzzy, depending on where said blue and fuzzy person happened to be located in the library when Janet came in.

Kurt looked toward the door as the girl entered with coffee in hand. He smiled warmly, and flipped off the shelf to land lightly on the floor.

"Guten Tag," He said with a bow. "I am the new librarian, Kurt Wagner. What can I help you find today?"

(ooc: YAY! Finally we meet!!)

Janet's eyes widened slightly at the backflip, but she smiled. "Um, hi," she said, holding out a hand. "Actually, I work in here. Janet Fraiser. I'm one of the library aides. Nice to meet you."

OOC: *cheers* I've been waiting for ages! I love Nightcrawler.

"Wie herrlich!" Kurt exclaimed with a jubulant smile. "I was wondering when I would finally meet you."

He pointed around. "I hope I didn't make a royal mess of things. I've been trying to acquaint myself with where everything is. Und I'm sorry about last week, not being here properly. I had business back home, and had to unexpectantly leave."

"I didn't know you'd heard of me," said Janet, grinning. "Or is it just the library aides in general that you've heard of?"

"I'm sure everything will be fine. The library's huge, so it takes a lot of familiarization." She grabbed a rubber band out of her pocket and put her hair back in a ponytail while she scanned the counter. "And don't worry about it. As far as I can tell, everything in the library ran pretty smoothly last week."

"The aides in general," Kurt smiled. "I haven't heard much about anyone really. I'm still learning my way around. I've only met two other students, and one of the professors so far."

"Ach, ja it is huge here," He shook his head in amazement. "I almost needed a map to find my way around."

"I've found that everyone is pretty great around here," said Janet. "So I'm sure that you can get directions easily enough. I don't know if we have a map of the building or not." She grinned. "But you'll learn your way in no time. Everyone else did too. So what brings you to Fandom? Other than our need for a librarian."

"Professor Xavier thought this environment would be more soothing for me?" Kurt shrugged. "A place where I wouldn't be judged by my appearance, ja."

"What school did you teach at before?" asked Janet curiously. "Professor Xavier isn't a familiar name to me. Though, you're absolutely right, no one tends to pay too much attention to outward appearance at this school. I think we all got over that after our first few weeks here."

"Oh, my apologies Lieblen. Charles Xavier's School for the Gifted."

"Not one I'm familiar with," said Janet. "It sounds fascinating, though. What subjects did they offer?"

"Almost all the same subjects of any school," Kurt replied. "Except, it mainly caters to mutants."

"Neat," said Janet.
