There were a lot of books in the return bin this, for some reason (to be honest Cosette was never quite sure how many of them were there because people had actually returned them, and how many just took it upon themselves to hop in and get comfortable), but it was a good enough reason for Cosette to stay busy.

She was singing softly under her breath -- so she hadn't particularly noticed anything out of place yesterday -- as she worked.
