Detention, 03.18.06, 9:00 AM

When the students walked in, the Danger Shop looked like The Tick's normal classroom. He was, of course, standing at the front of the room. Lockheed was sitting on the front desk playing solitaire. Next to him was a sign-in sheet.

"Hello, Molly, Cameron. For the sake of the arts, Detention will run a little short today. I hope you don't mind that. So, let's get to it!"

[OOC: Sign out at 2 PM EST at the earliest. I'll actually be heading to work for a couple hours doing non-computer stuff, so I may be gone for a little bit. Play between yourselves and mod the dragon where appropriate.]

Destiny brought me to detention because I was there when Molly did the things she earned detention for and I didn’t try to stop her. I think the detention lottery is telling me that not stepping in is as bad as doing the wrong thing yourself. Which is kind of ironic considering how being a vigilant is considered to be wrong by people as well. So I think destiny just wanted me to keep Molly company and make sure she’s alright. Either that or there’s some ulterior motive for me not showing up at work, maybe the cinema will explodinate.

Cameron resists the urge to headdesk as he wonders if Tick heard the radio too. "You want to do those then?" He asks Molly as he picks up Veronica's homework (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/705125.html?thread=33773157#t33773157). "Oh man, these are the clown metaphors."

Cameron was grateful that Tick wasn't going to talk about it. The snickering however made him look up and scowl at Lockheed. "Ever seen dragon clowns?" He asked him.

"I'll see if I can find some makeup for you," Cameron said and decided that he really didn't want to know what those skewed views were. He agreed with the rest of the paper though and graded it KEEN and indicated the EC.

"Sure thing," Molly said and went through the pile of homework to pull out the sheets for those students. "I don't think you should grade your own homework either," she added with a grin to Cam and grabbed his homework too. "Hmmm, I can't find one for Logan."

"I think that's criminal if you don't hand it in," Cameron replied and put Veronica's homework aside. He picked up Janet's (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/705125.html?thread=33774949#t33774949) and frowned. "Is that even a metaphor?"

I don't know. These two are kind of untrustworthy. We should make them sign in anyway. They might ditch otherwise.

Molly frowned at it. "Not using clown. Maybe for pie though."

"Uh, which wasn't the assignment." Cameron scratched the back of his neck. "Nifty for the pie metaphor?"

Re: Activity 2

[identity profile] bruiser-in-pink.livejournal.com 2006-03-18 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Molly blinked at him. "Nifty?"

"Oh right, professor Tick has his own special grading system. Criminal if it's really really bad, Nifty is I think equal to a B and Keen is an A. And then you get the usual plus and negative like with letter grading," Cameron explained. He marked Janet's EC and put the homework aside.

"Hee! Okay." Molly read Aeryn's (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/715781.html?thread=34161669#t34161669) homework. She frowned a bit as it wasn't the best metaphor ever, but marked it with a Nifty.

"Uh," Cameron frowned at Callisto's homework (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/705125.html?thread=33775461#t33775461). It was kinda short, but really it was a good one. He laughed at the extra credit and marked it Keen+. "Dude, it's weird grading people."

Molly read Jaye's (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/705125.html?thread=33774181#t33774181) homework and marked it with a Keen+ even though she had no clue about what the name Jaye had chosen for Marty meant. "It's weird homework to grade," she said.

"Actually, this is pretty standard homework for class." Cameron stared at Marty's homework (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/705125.html?thread=33778021#t33778021). "I have no clue what that's supposed to mean." Then he glared as he saw what name Marty had given him.
