Detention, 03.18.06, 9:00 AM

When the students walked in, the Danger Shop looked like The Tick's normal classroom. He was, of course, standing at the front of the room. Lockheed was sitting on the front desk playing solitaire. Next to him was a sign-in sheet.

Cameron Mitchell

"Hello, Molly, Cameron. For the sake of the arts, Detention will run a little short today. I hope you don't mind that. So, let's get to it!"

[OOC: Sign out at 2 PM EST at the earliest. I'll actually be heading to work for a couple hours doing non-computer stuff, so I may be gone for a little bit. Play between yourselves and mod the dragon where appropriate.]

Lockheed smirked as he dealt the cards for the next hand. No way was he losing.

Molly grinned at Cam's suggestion. "You can try to get him into the suit if we do win."

She frowned at her cards. Three spades, none close together. She shrugged and ditched two again, hoping for a flush.

"I just really want to see a clown dragon now," Cameron said and kept the queen and the ten hoping one of them would turn into a pair, he dropped the other three cards again.

Lockheed passed two to Molly and three to Cameron. Lockheed took four for himself.

And snickered.

Molly eyed the snickering dragon as she looked at her cards. Nothing. She set them down with a sigh. "At least it's getting near two o'clock."

"I don't think we're getting out until we win these," Cameron said and ended up with a pair of tens. "At least you'll be able to say you played poker with a purple dragon?"

Molly narrowed her eyes at Lockheed and looked at her hand. A pair of eights, a seven and two others that were of no help. Again, she asked for two cards. "I don't like that the one dealing the cards is always snickering, even if he is a purple dragon."

"Tell me about it," Cameron sighed and kept a jack and two threes. He considered Lockheed for a moment and leant forward. "What if we give you lots of candy?"

Lockheed gave an inquisitive look. Did they have candy right now?

Molly looked at Cam and the at the expectant look on Lockheed's face. She quickly dug into the pockets of her jacket and pulled out three JuJubes and a few peanut M&Ms. "How about that?" she asked the dragon.

"I can get you more next class," Cameron said quickly. "Chocolate cookies and possibly twinkies. Do you like cake?"

Lockheed answered that by dealing the last card to himself. 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7. No straight, seven high. Woe.

Lockheed ate a peanut M&M and dealt another hand.

Molly wondered how long the bribe would last as she checked her new cards. A king and a ten. Molly asked for three cards then dug around in her pocket and found another JuJube to add to the pile of bribe.

A queen and two eights, Cameron put down the other two cards and eyed Lockheed warily.

Ooh. New JuJube. Lockheed gave three cards to Molly, two to Cameron, and... meh. He folded.

Molly grinned as she got another ten. A pair was better than nothing. She made sure not to gloat though, as the dragon was still the one dealing the cards.

Cameron got a jack, but that didn't go with his queen. Two eights so Molly won this hand.

Lockheed looked at Molly expectantly as he passed out new cards.

Molly pursed her lips at Lockheed, but checked her pockets again. "Sorry, that is all of it," she said with a slightly annoyed tone.

She checked her cards. A whole lot of nothing. She kept the two highest card and asked for three.

Cameron sighed. "Ho-ho's," he promised Lockheed and realised he was missing just needed a ten for a flush. He put down one card.

Lockheed could make Cameron miserable in class if he didn't provide the Hostessy goodness, so he dealt kindly. Three to Molly, one to Cameron.

For himself, he took one. And he had a pair of twos.

Molly got a pair of fours from Lockheed and smiled as she compared them to his hand. "Yay! That's three."

"Ha! Flush!" Cameron looked rather gleeful as he put his cards down. There might have been a small dance sort of thing happening too.

Lockheed had lost. Woe. To cheer himself up, he hoarded his candy, smiled to the winners, and flew off snickering.

And he had better see those Ho-Hos on Tuesday.
