"Are you having me on? I wouldn't miss it for anything!" Walter grinned at Nadia and Blair. It was going to be great fun to see his friends while he had the luxury of sitting in his seat and getting it all on tape with Victor's camera.

~~*facepalms because that's JUST what we need on tape*~~

"I'm really excited. I've never been in a play before."

"You'll all be brilliant, I know it." Walter grinned ~~not at all as evilly as his mun, who cackles at the camera idea~~ and dug in to his lunch.

"What part are you playing, Blair?"

"The wishy-washy Lysander. Guy can't decide what girl he loves." Blair shrugs.

"It happens," Walter said with a matching shrug. "But are you having fun with it? I haven't seen much of you lately outside of classes."

"Yeah, it's been a lot of fun! Mostly I like hanging out with lots of people and practicing." Blair shrugged. "You know, you're right. I've been a sort of a shut in lately getting school work done and practicing. What have you been up to lately?"

"We went on a boat trip two nights ago. It was interesting." He cocked his head toward Nadia. "Nadia, Pip, Pippi, and I. At least the food was good, even if the fish monsters were not."

"Really?" Blair bounced. "That's so cool! Well, not the fish monsters part. Did you go on Pippi's boat?"

"Yes!" Walter nodded, not bounced. "And it was brilliant. The night was clear, so you could see the lights from the island on the water. Pippi had Miss Clay make a brilliant cooking setup, which needs more propane..." The latter sounded as though it was said as a sort of mental reminder. "So I cooked. And because we stayed out later than we intended, we got to see the sun come up from the water, too."

"That's great! Sounds like you guys had fun."

"Except for that bit in the middle with the fish monsters, we did." He glanced over at Nadia. "At least I think so. Nadia and Pip played guitar for us. We got out for the night. We had a good dinner and good company."

"Awesome." Blair looked over at Nadia. "I didn't know you played the guitar. Are you good?"

"She's very good." Said Pippi sitting down with her friends.

"Hey Pippi!" Blair grinned. "Walter and Nadia were just telling me about your boat ride."

Victor came in a little late, but he was there. He was actually feeling a heck of a lot more perky ~~because the mun just passed a really important test WOOT!~~. Maybe the whole sleepiness had been just a phase.

Yawn

Okay, so maybe not...

Walter beamed at Victor and waved him to an empty seat at his side. "Are you awake for longer than a class period?"

"Just a little. I'm feeling better, but still a little bit out of it. Did I miss anything?" he asked, pointing at their lunch group.

"We were talking about the play and the three hour tour we took two nights ago that turned into an all night tour." Walter waved his fork before taking another bite of shepherd's pie-a.

"Oh yeah, the play...and I missed a boating trip?" Victor may have pouted a little. "Hey, when do we have to be there to help out?" ~~because the mun forgot where the post is~~

"You missed out on a boating trip complete with moonlight, live music, my cooking, and fish monsters." If Walter was reproachful, it was only because he was concerned.

"I'm not sure about helping out. I decided not to. I had other things to do. ~~What things? I don't know...~~"

"Dang! I miss out on all the cool stuff!" He took a bite of Pie-a and chewed it a little glumly. "You know, this stuff isn't as good as yours."

"I know." Ego? What ego? But Walter was still eating it as though it were as good as his. "But I appreciate that the chef makes things I like now and then."

He fixed Victor with a stern look. "If you sleep through tomorrow, I'm borrowing your camera and recording the show for you, but then I'm going to be getting you to a doctor."

"Okay, okay..." Walter was acting like his mother, but...Victor liked it. it was awesome to know that walter cared about him so much.

"So where's your green?"

"That's right, we got a full night's excursion instead of the cheaper tour."
