Training Wheels [Period 2, Tuesday]

Bond held his class int eh Danger Shop, because when it came to tempting fate, it was the lesser of two evils. The shop itself resembled a racetrack with several very expensive looking cars off to the side, so his basic go to driver's ed sim.

"Welcome to Training Wheels," Bond greeted his class once they'd arrived. "Where we will be going over a number of advanced driver's education subjects both in terms of technique and vehicles. However, since I've been teaching here far too long, first we'll be having introductions both to each other and to the basics of driving." Because like he'd said, he'd been teaching here far too long.

He pointed to a random student. "So, name, class, if you actually know how to drive, and something you hope to gain from the class."

"Isabela, they say I'm a senior, and I totally know how to drive."

This was a lie, but she'd watched Ada and it didn't look that hard.

"I see." It was almost like Bond was sceptical about your claims, Isabela. "And what do you want out of the class?"

Isabela grinned shamelessly. "I can think of a few things."

Isabela, no.

"I'm Mara, I'm a junior, and I can drive, but things with wheels still feel very primitive to me," she said.

"From one of the the more advanced realities, then?" Bond asked. "Welcome to the class, Mara."

Once introductions were through, Bond led them through a quick overview on the how-tos of driving those very expensive looking cars. "Now I'd like you all to take turns in driving a few laps. Don't worry about the road rules at this point, since you're not sharing the road with anyone yet."

It was quite possible that Isabela didn't use the brake the entire time she was in the car.

The accelerator, however...
