Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Thankfully, the weather on the island today was fairly nice for the tail end of December, but there was still a medium-sized bonfire going in the middle of the lawn, partly due to tradition and partly due to the potential for shirtlessness (which, Zoe supposed, was also tradition.)

The usual tables were set up with warm foods, nametags, and lists for the new and old folks to find each other. Once everything was set up, it was time to celebrate a new year and the start of a new semester!

Honestly, after Deadpool's class, Khadgar answered to anything that was close to his name. "Hi! I survived my first terrible Fandom experience," he said proudly. "How are you?"

At that mention, her smile turned sympathetic. "I'm pretty good. Just got back from visiting my family in Tokyo. You doing okay? You know, after all the, um, stuff?"

Khadgar shrugged a little. "There were monsters and I got to be useful, so I suppose it could have been a lot worse," he said. "Did you visit your family for the holiday?"

"Yeah, for Christmas." Ringo shrugged. "I almost stayed the extra couple of days for New Year, but I kind of hate missing the picnic, you know?" She loved talking to people, after all.
