Lucille liked cookies. In fact she had had more cookies since arriving in Fandom than she had ever had before in her life.
The scent that filled the library carried the promise of cookies, but there were none to be found. Lucille had actually been looking, cursing the books for being silent on the matter. Eventually she had to draw the conclusion that today offered only the scent, as if to torment the inhabitants on the island.
Luckily she could at least comfort herself with books.
