The Library (3/17/06)

Janet's yawning as she opens up the library today. Maybe she can just sit in one place and check in books for a few hours.

"Morning," Zero said as she came into the library. She tossed her bookbag down and started going over her copy of the play.

"Hey," Angela said. "Ready to be Puck?"

"Just about." Zero nibbled her lip as she turned the page. "Gotta get through tonight, first."

"Right, tonight," Angela said. "Did you order that dress you were looking at Wednesday? It'd be cute on you."

"Nah. Not enough time for it to get here. I'l probably just wear jeans, like. Or. I don't know. Is that too casual?"

"Depends. Jeans are probably fine for anything in town except Cafe Fina," Angela asked. "And even if you're going there, it's better to be all comfortable, y'know?"

She bit her lower lip. "Besides, it's not like Peter has a suit fetish."

"Hmm. I have a few skirts. Maybe I could wear one of them." Zero tugged at a lock of emerald-green hair as she thought.

"If you wouldn't be cold," Angela said. "But you could wear tights."

She eyed Zero's hair. "Are you leaving your hair up like usual, or are you going to wear it down?"

"I never wear it down. It gets in the way." Up, it's sticking out in every direction at once, but at least it's not in the way!

"That'as why I'm always sticking mine behind my ears," Angela said. "It's too short to all go up, see?" She demonstrated, pulling her hair into a quick ponytail. Clumps started falling out immediately.

"Hmm. Yeah. You could use those little clips if you wanted to put it up, but I like your hair down."
